Our Origins

Founded in 1995, the Hoy Yin Chinese Association was established to serve members from the Hoy Yin region of China as well as the wider local Chinese community.

Our headquarters at 28 Nelson Street has since become a cultural and community anchor in Liverpool’s Chinatown.

What We Do

We are dedicated to:

• Promoting Chinese culture
• Organising traditional festival celebrations
• Supporting community welfare

Our Principles

The Association is open to all Chinese people, regardless of religious or political beliefs.

We also support members by:

✔ Assisting with social welfare issues

✔ Sharing news and updates from Hoy Yin, China

✔ Providing a welcoming community hub
